As you all already know, I recently participated in the auditions for UPN 24's Big Break Casting Call to get a supporting role on either "Desire" or "Fashion House". They posted the auditions online and everyone voted for me and it means the world to me. Well there is now one last week of voting. But, they have narrowed it down to the 30 people, the top guy and the top girl from each city where auditions were held...and because of all of your voting and support, I AM THE GUY FROM BALTIMORE!!! Thank you all sooo much for that!! So now, the competition is down to me vs. 14 other guys from around the country, so I need all of your help again!! I need you all to vote for me and get everyone you know to vote for me....family, friends, coworkers....EVERYONE!! Together we beat out many hundreds of guys, now we only have 14 guys to beat!! I would really appreciate if you would go to the site and vote for me so I can win and also please pass this on to your friends and family and ask them to do it as well. It would really mean the world to me!!! The process is the same and it's really quite simple:

-In the search box where it says enter initials, enter JW
-In the middle of the page you will see a picture of me and another actor(it says JW Baltimore, MD underneath it), click that picture
- then when the next screen loads, on the left hand side is the voting part for me, please vote me as 5 stars. you will need to enter an email address to submit a vote but i would really appreciate your help in this!
NOTE: You may need to delete your cookies so that you can vote for me, but maybe not....if you need to, all you have to do is go to Tools: Internet Options: and then click delete cookies, click yes, and then refresh the contest page and it should let you vote.
Also, you can also help my score by voting the other contestants lower scores, say if you were to give them all 1's and me a 5, it would help my standings and get me to the top!!!

I called my Mom to let her know what time I would be done and able to come home to Baltimore tonight for Ahmed's Birthday Extravaganza which is tomorrow. I'm soooo excited.......can't wait!! Got my tux!! Got his gift!! Couldn't be any happier!!
So I call my Mom to let her know when her and my Dad should come get me tonight...and what do I get......she says ok and thanks me for calling......but then, just when I thought everything was great.......I get bad news..................................found out that my Great Uncle, my Mom's Uncle, Uncle Harry......who also happened to be my Godfather......passed away yesterday. :-( Feeling kinda emo, don't want to talk, just want to write some songs.....I need a band.....or at least someone to write songs with!!
I guess it's good though because he was suffering so at least he's not suffering anymore....so I'm glad for that....but I wish he had gotten well so he could still be here.....would have liked to have had him to be here to see me graduate from college!! He was so proud of me when I graduated high school!! I miss you and love you Uncle Harry!!
His viewing is this Sunday.....so now the rest of my week/weekend looks like this:
Friday(Today): Vagina Monologues @ 8:00.....then I come home......may spend the night at Ahmed's to help set up tomorrow.
Saturday(Tomorrow): Ahmed's Birthday Extravaganza!! Black tie martini party at his house....then Club 1.....then who knows!! Tara's my date and it's going to be fantastic....we're going to look soo hot and have a blast!!! I can't wait!! The craziness will ensue....it has to!! I need it to!!
Sunday: Gotta buy some supplies for a project......then my Great Uncle/Godfather's Viewing from 7-9 PM.....then come back to school to do any homework/reading I have left to do
Funeral is Monday at 10 AM....I might skip my class for the day and stay home and go to that.....especially if they need a pallbearer.
So yea....if you see me this weekend....make me laugh, make me smile, and don't let me forget to get those supplies I need!!

POPULAR ALTERNATIVE ROCK STATION LAUNCHES ON THE AOL® RADIO NETWORK AND WHFS.COM
WHFS Programming Returns to the Air on Nights and Weekends on Infinity Baltimore's Live 105.7 FM Beginning on Friday, Jan. 21
Infinity Broadcasting and America Online today announced the launch of WHFS.com, a 24-hour, seven day a week audio stream of the former Infinity alternative rock station. The online radio station will be available to millions of listeners on the Web at WHFS.com and through the AOL® Radio Network, America Online's leading network of Internet radio services which include Radio@AOL and Radio@Netscape, beginning on Friday, Jan. 21. Programming will include new music, archive programming from WHFS and performances from past HFStivals.
99.1 "El Zol" WHFS-FM in Washington, D.C. debuted a Spanish-language format on Wednesday, Jan. 12. Pending regulatory approval, the station will change its call letters to WZLL-FM.
"We heard loud and clear how important WHFS and its programming are to the Washington, D.C./Baltimore community, and through our partnership with AOL, we are thrilled to be able to bring WHFS back to its passionate and loyal fans," said David Goodman, Executive Vice President, Marketing, Infinity. "The legacy of WHFS as a pioneering music station will continue to live on for millions of listeners around the world."
"WHFS is an institution in the alternative rock community in D.C., and it's great to be able to give the station a new home online on AOL Radio," said Jack Isquith, Executive Director of Music Industry Relations for AOL® Music and the AOL Radio Network.
AOL will promote the new station through AOL® CityGuide (www.aolcityguide.com) in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD and on AOL Music (www.aolmusic.com).
In a related announcement, Infinity Baltimore's FM Talk station, Live 105.7, will also debut "HFS on Live 105.7" weeknights beginning at 7:00-12:00Midnight and all day Saturdays and Sundays beginning on Friday, Jan. 21. Yea so I'm sitting at work today and decide to randomly go to WHFS' Website http://www.whfs.com because I do random shit like that. Plus there was talk of a farewell page being put up for a little while so I wanted to see if it was up. Low and behold it redirects me to this site... http://music.channel.aol.com/internet_radio/whfs
and if you go there as you can see, it says this....
HFS IS BACK!!! Even if it's only online, that's still something and it's a start!! HFS IS BACK!!

WHFS has switched formats to a Spanish format. DCRTV.org reports:
"HFS Goes Spanish - 1/12 - At noon Wednesday, Infinity killed off alternative rock WHFS (99.1 FM). It's now Spanish language El Zol, with "a current hit blend of Caribbean and Central American dance music." Check out whfs.com. "We have made clear our desire to expand into this burgeoning market and believe this move marks an important step in our commitment to Spanish radio," said Joel Hollander, president and chief operating officer of Infinity. "There exists a tremendous opportunity for Infinity to launch a Spanish-language format in Washington DC where almost 10 percent of the population is not being directly served. El Zol will be the most powerful Spanish radio station in the area and will provide listeners with the music, entertainment, and information relevant to the many segments of the Latino culture." Spanish Broadcasting System served as a consultant to and advised Infinity on the reformatting of the station. Infinity announced a strategic alliance with SBS in October 2004, which included an equity interest in the largest Hispanic-controlled radio broadcasting company in the USA. No word about what will happen to the old WHFS airstaff, although there are rumblings that the morning Junkies may move back to Infinity talker WJFK-FM. WHFS was born in the 1960s on 102.3 FM in Bethesda, and became a maverick free-form progressive rocker by the early 1970s. It moved to Annapolis-based 99.1 FM in 1983. After a variety of owners, it evolved into a mainstream alternative rock outlet serving both DC and Baltimore, with studios in Lanham. During the past years, however, its ratings have slumped, particularly in the DC market."
